Welcome to our website.

Churches Regional Commission for Yorkshire and the Humber (CRC) is a Christian organisation that is proactive with public bodies and faith partners in promoting regeneration in the region.

These pages are designed to provide online information on CRC’s activities in culture, interfaith, social inclusion, rural renaissance, church tourism and other regeneration activity in Yorkshire and the Humber. There is also an introduction to CRC, its partners, and faith in our region. There are also publications which are free to download.

CRC also provides a diversity training package called Faith Matters that aims to develop an understanding of faith and to respond to new equality legislation on faith and belief.

The CRC with the Yorkshire and Humber Faiths Forum have reissued a revised version of the BNP briefing paper in advance of the European elections in June. We have also issued a paper on Unemployment and the Churches' Response.

An undated version of 'Muck,Brass and Credit' which deals with the financial exclusion and the debt crisis in Yorkshire and the Humber is now also available to download.

We are having an exciting conference on Wednesday 8th July in Sheffield on the theme of 'Effective Presence: Stories of Transformation.' For more information see here
